- Abstract (EN)
- This master thesis contains a thorough review of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts that are currently being used in different industries. Of particular interest will be the supply chain management (SCM) concepts and uses, where AI is being disruptive at accelerated rates and is creating value. Likewise, applications in other types of processes will be revised, such as health and the current problematic of Coronavirus. The focus of this master thesis is reviewing mathematical methods that are applied in several industries for different purposes, e.g. forecasting, optimisation, classification, decision making support. Based on this review, this thesis aims to analyse real cases in which two of the most used and efficient revised AI methods are used.
